the weekend.

Do you sometimes feel like you need another weekend to get over the weekend just been? This weekend was sort of a write off. I stayed out till 3.30am on a girls night out and didn't quite recover from it. Yep. Getting older. Oh, and I went to karaoke at the R.S.A the next night too. Ha! Wow, talk about party animal.

More excitedly I did catch a lot of cool music on the Coachella livestream on Youtube. I watched Interpol late on Saturday night and Arcade Fire last night. Uh, how cool was Arcade Fire?! Pretty fantastic I say.

Hope you all had a restful weekend. It was perfect rainy stay at home weather in Auckland. The lawn is all mushy and I didn't get any laundry dry. 

I've been listening to this new album on my headphones. I've liked this band for awhile now. Something about their music resonates with my soul.

I can't stop being foolish

From the new album Screens by The Mint Chicks (I am listening to it now and I am very much enjoying). Some of the scenes in this video were shot at the Winter Gardens in the Auckland Domain, which is a pretty rad place too. The giant owl makes this video all kinds of awesome, even made me chuckle the first time I saw it. I mean, who doesn't like owls?!
